Corriemar House, an outstanding Victorian building with an exceptional position on Oban's seafront. Corriemar has 14 bedrooms, all ensuite (and one with its own sitting room and double bedroom ensuite). All the bedrooms and public areas have been decorated and furnished to a very high standard including the use of Italian wallpapers in both the dining room and hallways. With beds from the U.S. and furniture from Europe and the Far East there is something for everyone. Our deluxe bedrooms have king size beds, some have king size four posters. Most have panoramic views over Oban Bay, towards the Isle of Kerrera and the largest island in the Inner Hebrides, the Isle of Mull.

Corriemar has 14 bedrooms including doubles, twins and even two four poster beds. All have been attractively furnished and have private facilities, colour television, tea/coffee hospitality tray and hair dryer. Some rooms enjoy fine panoramas over Oban Bay.

Corriemar also has a large, airy and comfortable dining room where breakfast is served. Guests also have the use of the conservatory and sitting room. Complimentary coffee can be taken and enjoyed on the patio.

There is ample private parking and unrestricted road parking.

Oban is a very picturesque fishing town on the West Coast of Scotland. Built around a natural bay, it is hard to escape the sight of the sea. Oban is also surrounded by islands, the nearest, Kerrera being only a very accessible 5 minutes ferry trip away. Caledonian MacBrayne run ferries from Oban to Mull, Coll and Tiree, Lismore, Barra and South Uist and Colonsay, and due to this, Oban has come to be known as the Gateway to the Isles.

Corriemar is built on the Esplanade with a level walk to the centre of the town. The views of the bay from the guest house are superb, especially in the evening when the sun sets over the hills to the west.
