Floral Cottage Guest House is situated in the heart of the conservation village of Rhu adjacent to Rhu and Shandon Parish Church which is steeped in local history.

The village sits on the banks of the Gareloch, 2 miles North of the town of Helensburgh. Floral Cottage Guest House is an ideal location for sailing events from Rhu Marina and for functions held at the Royal Northern and Clyde Yacht Club. Eating out is not a problem - we have two local hotels with restaurants within walking distance from us. After your meal, why not visit our very friendly and popular pub, the Rhu Inn? Live entertainment is on most weekends.

Floral Cottage has 3 bedrooms all with splendid views over the Gareloch. All rooms have central heating, TVs and tea making facilities. The dining room with lounge area also has a TV. We also have ample off-street parking.

There are lots of things to do and places to go. Loch Lomond is only a 15 minute drive away with the very popular Lomond Shores complex in Balloch, situated in Scotland's very first National Park. There is also a station in Helensburgh for the West Highland Railway Line where you can see lots of beautiful scenery on the way to Oban or Mallaig. If you prefer a relaxing day out on the water, why not take a trip on the "Waverley" Paddle Steamer (summer only, sails most days).
