The Retreat, Dunbar, East Lothian

Set in the heart of Dunbar, we have only recently opened our doors to guests. It is our desire to make all visitors welcome and live up to the banner above - relax, recharge and rejuvinate - The Retreat is minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of Dunbar's main street and quaint little historic harbour, yet gives the feeling of being set away in a more rural environment.

Our home is a Georgian house with some lovely features and large, bright rooms. Our two guest rooms are both on the top floor - we have no elevator or stair lift - each with the use of its own bathroom. Both rooms are spacious and airy with a Double Bed and room for Z Beds if required as well as sitting areas with sofa. We have a young family of our own, so cannot guarantee perfect peace and quiet, however, can promise privacy, comfort and relaxation.

Whatever your reason for coming to Dunbar we shall be delighted to welcome you and are happy to discuss your specific requirements. We can organise ourselves to fulfill your requirements with the minimum of fuss and in understanding of your work or holiday schedule, whether it be supplying a packed lunch, booking a game of golf on one of our fabulous courses or simply providing a local bus or train timetable - Just make yourself at home.

Breakfast available from 8am till 9.30am, please book time when checking in.
