The Roxburghe Guest House, in a 19th century stone building in the ancient burgh of Kinross, offers Scottish hospitality at its best and where you will receive a warm welcome from Sandy and Steve.

Ideally situated, in Central Scotland, Edinburgh and St Andrews are only 40 minutes away, with Perth and Stirling less than 25 minutes away. For our guests heading to or from the continent, the Rosyth Ferry Port is just half an hour away with M90 joining to all the major routes across the country.

Within 10 minutes walk is the famous Loch Leven Fishery, with it's famous pink fleshed trout. The nearest golf courses are a 3 minute drive away, and the RSPB visitor centre at Vane Farm is 10 minutes drive away.

The Roxburghe combines the best of Scottish produce with traditional cooking. Both Sandy and Steve are experienced chefs, who use fresh local produce wherever possible.

The Roxburghe has four bedrooms, which vary in size, from double, twin and family rooms. Although there are no en-suite facilities, the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Each has hospitality tray, television and hairdryer. An iron and ironing board and a trouser press are available on request. In addition, a selection of DVD’s and a Play Station can be provided.

Clothes washing and drying can be done in-house for a nominal charge.

The Roxburghe welcomes Walkers, Cyclists and Motor Bikers and there
are drying facilities for wet clothes. Should guests require it, the
Roxburghe offers a small lock up for items such as bicycles, panniers,
fishing tackle, golfing equipment etc at no extra cost.

Parking is available in a private area at the rear of the house, where there is room for two or three cars. Additional free public parking may be found across the High Street and 100 Meters down Montgomery Street. For HGV and large Goods Vehicles, there is a truck park at the services off Junction 6 on the M90 motorway.

The Roxburghe has a rear garden where guests may enjoy drinks, meals and barbecues, weather permitting.
