Jacqueline and Malcolm would like to extend a warm welcome to you and guarantee a special stay. Our rooms are warm and comfortable with Sky TV, DVD players with a good selection of films for all rooms. All rooms have a hospitality tray with a selection of coffee, tea, hot chocolate with sugar and milk.

All room tariff's include a full Scottish breakfast. You can choose from:-
Selection of cereal, porridge, fruit, prunes or grapefruit segments. Our special porridge has walnuts,sultanas and chopped mixed nuts topped with maple syrup and is a must try. Pancakes can also be ordered for breakfast.

Our main course consists of:-
Two sausages, two (fried, scrambled or omelette ) eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, two rashers of bacon, baked beans, black pudding, haggis and a Rosti or other combinations

Some of our guests say it is the best breakfast they have had. That will be up to you to decide.

It will be three years in November since we moved to Coaltown. It has been an interesting time with the B&B and now also our house rental business to which we have just added another two properties in the local area bringing our total to eleven. We have been very busy at all times and have never had one night over the last few years when we did not have a guest staying in our house. We are open 365 days a year and if we are full up we can always find accommodation with one of the nearby bed and breakfasts for you. Malcolm enjoys phoning around to help people.
