Ness Bank Guest House, Inverness, Inverness-shire

Ness Bank Guest House is an elegant Georgian house ideally situated on one of the most scenic riverside locations in Scotland and has been tastefully updated to meet modern day standards.

The house is the closest Guest House in Ness Bank to the city centre and is only a few minutes walk from the Bus and Rail Stations, Theatre, Cathedral, Castle and lovely riverside walks and parks.

Ness Bank Guest House is personally supervised and run by David and Judith Milne. We have been awarded 3 Stars by the Scottish Tourist Board and a Bronze Award by the Green Tourism Business Scheme.

The house enjoys a high proportion of repeat business due to the comfort, ambience and high standard of cleanliness which is maintained throughout.

Guests comfort is a priority and to ensure this, all rooms are serviced daily to a high standard.

Some bedrooms and the elegant dining room overlook the River Ness with attractive views across to the Cathedral.

All tastefully decorated rooms have a hospitality tray, colour television, radio alarm, hair dryers and shaving points.

Breakfasts are served in the dining room overlooking the river and are freshly cooked to order from the varied menu. We offer a wide selection of hot and cold food. Vegetarian, vegan and other diets such as wheat and dairy free are also easily catered for; just let us know your dietary requirements upon booking or by e-mail.

Inverness, Capital of the Highlands, has never been easier to visit and is the ideal base for your Highland break. There are daily flights from Luton, London and the Islands, a regular train service including the nightly Caledonian Sleeper and is easily reached by car or coach.
Ness Bank House is only 5 minutes walk from the train and bus station or a short taxi ride from the Airport.

We are on the riverside opposite the Cathedral and very close to the city centre with its wide selection of shops, many restaurants and tourist attractions. The very popular Eden Court Theatre is a pleasant 5 minute walk along the river front and across a pedestrian suspension bridge.
Inverness is an ideal touring base with many castles, museums, historic sights, distilleries and scenic attractions only a short journey away. Places to visit include Cawdor, Brodie and Urquhart Castles, Culloden Battlefield, the Clava Cairns and Loch Ness. Boat trips on the Moray Firth to spot dolphins are also very popular. A bit further afield the Isle of Skye and the Far North can easily be visited in a day trip.
