Atholdene House, Inverness, Inverness-shire

Fred and Penelope MacLellan Hawkes became the new owners of Atholdene House in August 2005. Our guesthouse is set in the Crown district of Inverness; it is a quiet residential area only 5 minutes walk from Inverness city centre. The bus station and railway station are easily accessible situated in the middle of town. Inverness has its own airport, which is 15 minutes from our guesthouse and 1-hour flight from London.
Inverness is the capital of the highlands of Scotland ideal for settling down for a wonderful relaxing holiday or to base oneself and explore the sprawling areas around the magnificent countryside.
If you like skiing, you can be on the Cairngorms in 40 minutes, strolling along glorious white sands on Nairn beach in 20 minutes or for those of you who fancy a little Nessie hunting, we are five minutes from the famous Loch Ness and the many cruise options available from there.
Atholdene Guesthouse offers quality bed and breakfast accommodation. All our guest rooms are tastefully decorated with en-suite/private facilities, colour TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray. All bedrooms are non-smoking. We have single, twin, double and family rooms available.
We endeavour to use as much fresh produce as possible. Our eggs are delivered to us directly from a local farm 3 or 4 times a week. We receive our haggis from award winning McSweens of Bruntsfield, Edinburgh, and our salmon is locally smoked. We are happy to please all tastes; with a little prior arrangement we can serve what you wish! Our dining room is set at the front of the house where you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast by the fire while watching Inverness come to life or simply sit with a coffee and browse through the many books available to plan your next trip! We look forward to welcoming you to Atholdene and we will endeavour to make your visit to the highlands as memorable as possible.
There is a large car park to the rear of the house for the use of our guests as well as a childrens play area (unsupervised).
