The Tilt, Inverness, Inverness-shire

Built in the 1930s, The Tilt is a family home run by June and John Fiddes. Located near Inverness Golf Course and 1 mile from the city centre. We are conveniently situated just 15 minutes drive from Inverness Airport. Our Bed and Breakfast offers value for money accommodation in the Highland Capital, Inverness.

The Tilt sits overlooking Old Perth Road which was once the main road to the South of Scotland. The Highland Clans would have marched nearby on their way to Culloden Battlefield in 1746 in the support of the Jacobite cause and its figurehead, Bonnie Prince Charlie. Now it provides convenient access to the main roads to The South, Aberdeen, and John o'Groats, Ullapool, Loch Ness and Fort William.

We offer guests a choice of bedrooms :
1 single room
1 twin room
1 family room (with double bed and single bed)
Although our rooms don't have en-suite facilities, they do have wash hand basin, TV, radio, tea/coffee making facilities.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden, or sit and relax in the sun porch.

We have private off-street parking. Secure garaging for motorcycles and bicycles.

Breakfast is served from 8am - 9am in the dining room overlooking a side garden where a variety of birds can be seen trying to eat their breakfast and having a bath. Early breakfasts by arrangement (or we can make a packed breakfast to take with you). Vegetarian menus and packed lunches available.

There is good access to the main A9 and A96 roads, and it is easy to drive into the city centre. This is ideal for those who like to stay on the edge of town.

We are particularly well situated for those wishing to visit Raigmore Hospital or Beechwood Business Park. Inverness bus and railway stations, and Inverness Airport are within easy access.
