The Old Kirk, Dyke by Forres, Morayshire

Upon your arrival at this traditional Scottish church, surrounded by fields of golden grain, you will discover a sense of peace and tranquillity. Visitors are met by the church’s garden with its colourful flowers and aromatic herbs and its original stained glass window.
Outside the picturesque village of Dyke you enter a place of country-lifestyle as well as a stylish, cosy atmosphere - a distinctly different place to stay in Scotland!
This traditional Scottish Kirk was built in 1856. The conversion is an imaginative blend of traditional materials and modern touches retaining the character without creating a gothic atmosphere.
We are situated just 2 miles from the A96 - far enough away from the noise of any traffic and yet still a perfect base for exploring Moray.
Entering the front door you will be overwhelmed by the stylish staircase and the general feeling of space.
Start your day by enjoying a relaxed breakfast in a room full of natural light, if not morning sunshine.
Our comfortable guest lounge provides you with a place to rest, talk, read or play. With its stunning stained-glass window and its open fire it really is a special place to come back to and relax in the evening.
The house is centrally heated and double glazed and all bedrooms have a television, a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
The rooms are charming with the original stonework which still remains while arched windows extending from the floor catch the sunlight.
