Jacky and John welcome you to their outstanding detached south facing traditional Scottish Victorian house and offer warm hospitality and a very high standard of accommodation at Merlindale Bed & Breakfast in Crieff. The guest house is situated amongst private houses in a quiet residential area of Crieff, Perthshire a popular holiday town right in the centre of Scotland.
Approximately an hour and a quarter away from Glasgow and Edinburgh airports, and fifteen miles from Perth and Stirling, we are situated in the Grampian foothills, often referred to as the gateway to the Highlands - quite the most spectacular area to stay and never far from Scottish cultural heritage.
From the B&B you can walk into Crieff, where there are shops, pubs and restaurants, you can visit the Brasserie at the Crieff Hydro Hotel or have a delicious cordon bleu dinner in the elegant Bed and breakfast dining room.
Our luxury bedrooms feature the highest quality in beds to ensure you have the utmost experience in a nights sleep. There is ample room for you to sit and read your favourite book whilst enjoying our "on the house" welcoming drink. Alternatively there are tea and coffee making facilities in all bedrooms, which you can enjoy with complimentary biscuits. Our de-luxe bathrooms are sunken off the bedrooms and you can luxuriate in a scented bath, or shower with one of our state of the art high-powered showers.
The lounge offers satellite television, which enables you to sit back and relax and watch your favourite program, on a state of the art plasma screen.
We boast a very large library where you can sit back relax and read a variety of books. We have a very large selection on Scotland's past, which may fill you in on any gaps in your history.
