Chimes House, Dunblane, Perthshire

Overlooking the magnificent 12th century cathedral in the centre of Scotland's smallest city of Dunblane (pop.7200), Chimes House is a light, spacious Victorian town house retaining many original features combined with modern comforts, where guests will enjoy traditional Scottish hospitality and excellent home cooking.
Enjoy a relaxing stroll along the banks of the Allan Water, visit the Cathedral with its stained glass and superb wood carvings in Scottish Oak, or just browse through the Cathedral Museum and Scotland's oldest private lending library which was opened in 1684.
Dunblane is ideally situated for visiting all of Central Scotland with Perth, Edinburgh and Glasgow less than an hour away, yet the panorama of lochs and mountains of the Trossachs area is on the doorstep. 5 miles away in Stirling visit Stirling Castle, the site of the Battle of Bannockburn, and the Wallace Monument - the very heart of 'Braveheart' country.
All prices include room and a full Scottish breakfast in the morning.
