Tigh Na Leigh Guest House, Alyth, Perthshire

Tigh Na Leigh is a small guest house which is pretty big on hospitality, great food and quality service. Formerly a Doctor's house in Victorian times, it has been extensively modernised to afford guests every comfort while retaining its original character. With only 5 letting bedrooms in the main house, we are able to give our guests every personal attention. A highlight is our fabulous new Four Poster Bedroom.

The house's setting, with relaxing gardens, provide memorable photo opportunities to remind you to return soon! A veritable stress free zone. You'll love the ambience, the tranquility, the atmosphere, the freedom, the easy friendliness.

There are 5 very comfortably furnished rooms available. You will find a TV & DVD player, tea/coffee making facilities, bathrobes, hairdryers etc in every room. The bathrooms are all en- suite, all have a shaver point, heated towel rails and endless hot water to enjoy a lengthy shower or a nice soak in the tub.

Rooms are as follows :

The Single - comfortable furniture, TV & DVD player, all the usual trimmings, en suite bathroom - sorry no Jacuzzi.

The Double - as the name suggests a double bed in contemporary leather, luxury en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi/spa bath.

The Suite - if one room is not enough, enjoy the spaciousness of a separate lounge, with colour TV & DVD player and a very comfy sofa.
The bedroom has a super king size bed; the bathroom is of course en suite and has a Jacuzzi/spa bath.

The Four Poster (it took ages to find this bed). This is our largest room and most lavishly furnished, the bathroom is a luxurious en suite and has a huge Jacuzzi/spa bath.

The Downstairs - this is very convenient for the not so nimble of foot, a cosy twin bedroom with luxury en suite bathroom - sorry no Jacuzzi.

Downstairs you will find a lounge with a log fire (on cooler evenings) to have a pre- or after dinner drink, the TV room and the Conservatory Dining Room where we serve breakfast and evening meals.

Additionally you will find the Reading Room where a wide variety of books, magazines and the daily papers for your reading pleasure can be found. Brochures for activities in and around Alyth and Perthshire as well as maps to plan your day are on hand.

Also in here is a computer with broadband internet access to stay in touch with friends, family or the office.

We offer drying facilities, a secure garage for Bicycles and Motorbikes, storage for golf bags and angling gear.

We do serve evening meals and we are licensed.
