Galvelbeg House is a high quality family run guesthouse offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Crieff, Scotland. It is situated on the east side of Crieff on the main Perth Road.
The house enjoys uninterrupted views of the Ochil Hills and Strathearn Valley. The town centre is only a few minutes walk and has an interesting selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
Built in 1894 and restored in 1992 the Galvelbeg House has a warm and friendly atmosphere which puts guests at ease with the surroundings and makes for a comfortable stay, whether over night or longer, you are sure to enjoy this beautiful house in Crieff.
Galvelbeg House has seven letting rooms in total, two twins, four doubles and a family room which can sleep up to five. All have en-suite facilities.
Each room has a TV, double-glazing and a refreshment tray with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits which are much appreciated after a long journey or a busy day sight seeing.
Crieff is very central and has something for everyone. Golf, fishing, walking, hunting, water sports or just sight seeing, you will not have to go far to find what you are looking for.
The town centre of Crieff is only a few minutes walk and has an interesting selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
Within Crieff itself there are eight walks that form part of an extensive paths network for walkers, cyclists and horse riders.
Crieff is the perfect base for golfers and has a beautiful course of its own. It is also only a short drive from Gleneagles and Rosemount.
Crieff also has its own Highland Games with Sports, Highland Dancing, Pipe Bands and Fun Fair which takes place on the third Sunday in August every year.
