Situated in an idyllic setting on Flanders Moss with spectacular views across the river towards Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, Faraway House is of a modern Scandinavian design, with bright, airy rooms stylishly furnished providing a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.

Martin and Judi provide a warm and friendly welcome and provide useful advice and information for those wishing to explore the many tourist attractions within easy reach. Walking and cycling are popular pursuits with the close proximity of the Trossachs and the historic City of Stirling. For the less energetic, guests are welcome to stroll through the grounds and along the pathways in 9 acres of woodland where there is an abundance of wildlife including fallow deer. Fishing gear and canoes are also available. In the evenings, magnificent sunsets can be enjoyed whilst relaxing on the decking with a beer or a glass of wine.

Faraway House has fishing rights on the river Forth and the area is ideal for other countryside pursuits.

Visitors are welcome to stroll around the woodland within the grounds of the house, where the planting of over 12 different tree types has encouraged many different species of birds and wildlife such as deer.
