Arden House, Bexhill on Sea, Essex

We are an established B&B located in the seaside town of Bexhill-on-Sea offering comfortable accommodation in two double bedrooms and a twin-bedded or family room in a relaxed and elegant house. We are situated close to the railway station and sea-front with the famous De La Warr Pavilion a short walk away. Breakfast is served in our beautiful conservatory overlooking mature enclosed gardens with a wide menu catering for all tastes.

All rooms are provided with hospitality trays and a good selection of tea, coffee and herbal teas and fresh milk. There is a selection of books and also a video library for guests. We also have games such as backgammon, scrabble and draughts for relaxing afternoons or evenings in. Ironing board available on request.

Please note that smoking is not allowed in the bedrooms but the garden may be used by smokers during the day.

En-Suite room : This is a light and airy room with an enjoyably open outlook. The en-suite shower-room is newly fitted out to a very high standard. Hospitality tray with a good selection of tea and coffee is provided along with mineral water. Hair-dryer and fan provided. TV/video and DAB radio also provided. Heating adjustable within the room.

Twin/Double room : Our twin/double/family room with private bathroom is a large, warm and sunny room and has a nice view over the garden to the sea in the distance. Hospitality tray with good selection of tea and coffee provided along with mineral water. Bath robes, hair-dryer and fan provided. TV/video/DVD and DAB radio also provided. Heating adjustable within the room.

Breakfast is served in the conservatory overlooking our secluded and mature garden. We offer a good range of cereals, porridge or fruit compote and Greek yoghurt to start and a hearty cooked breakfast. Vegetarians may well enjoy our top-notch muesli with an omelette to follow. We always have a variety of toast and Wilkins marmalade as well as honey and jams. We can also provide a lighter continental style breakfast on request.
