Wheatcroft Bed & Breakfast, Hadham Cross, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire

Wheatcroft is a late Victorian house at the south end of the Much Hadham village offering bed and breakfast accommodation, set back from the road behind a high beech hedge. The gravel drive at the side provides ample parking space. There is a well-maintained garden at the back which guests are welcome to use.
A large conservatory, which overlooks the garden, leads out of the dining room and there is a comfortable sitting room, with a television, which guests may use in the front of the house. On the first floor is a quiet guest suite comprising a large double bedroom, an adjoining dressing room with fitted cupboards and dressing table, and a separate spacious shower room with a large, walk-in cubicle for the power-shower plus WC. A radio and hairdryer are provided and the whole suite is carpeted and pleasantly decorated and furnished. It overlooks the garden at the rear of the property.
Much Hadham is one of Hertfordshire's show pieces with a wealth of fine 17thC and 18thC houses, pretty timbered cottages, 19thC almshouses and a beautiful Medieval church. Within easy walking distance of Wheatcroft there are 3 fine pubs all serving very good food. The Henry Moore Foundation is in the nearby hamlet of Perry Green.
The M11 gives easy access to Stansted Airport, London and Cambridge. The county town of Hertford, St Albans, Bishop's Stortford, Hatfield House, Audley End and Knebworth House are only a short drive away.
