We offer comfortable bed & breakfast accommodation in a pleasant residential area of the delightful seaside town of Deal, Kent. It’s ideal for a quiet and peaceful stay in the atmosphere of an Edwardian House.

Guests are encouraged to make themselves completely at home.

With only five bedrooms the atmosphere often takes on that of a house party. There is a splendid dining room, a comfortable library sitting room and tranquil gardens.

Each of our bedrooms, which are all non-smoking, is individually decorated to tastefully complement the period of the property.

All rooms have colour television, radio, hair dryer, in-room safe, individual room heating controls and tea/coffee making facilities.

The en-suite or private bath or shower rooms have fluffy white towels, power showers and an excellent range of toiletries.

Wireless internet access and direct dial telephones are available in all rooms.

We can provide a set 3 course dinner to cordon bleu standard, complemented by a fine wine list. Dinner should normally be confirmed in advance of arrival at Sutherland House.

Enjoy relaxing in our library sitting room which is stocked with books, magazines and daily newspapers.

We also have a fully stocked licensed bar available to our residents.
