Whitfield Farm is located a quiet rural area of Kent, yet very accessible for all the sights and attractions that are available nearby. Sissinghurst Castle, Rye, Tunbridge Wells, the many excellent local golf courses, the coast and access to the continent are all within easy driving distance. The mainline station to London is 5 miles away providing trains to central London in an hour.

The house is a beautiful Elizabethan timber framed house of around 1580, and set in gardens and grounds of more that 35 acres. There are gardens, lakes and ponds, cattle sheep and horses to be seen, in this fabulous corner of the Garden of England.

There is generous parking for guests in the driveway outside the house, well away from the road and we are in a peaceful location away from traffic noise ensures guests can relax and get a good night’s sleep.

We aim to provide high-quality, organic home-grown or locally produced foods - nothing is as locally produced as our eggs, though!

We have two large and well appointed rooms available in the main house, both with ensuite facilities. In addition, there is garden suite with bedroom, ensuite shower room and fully fitted kitchen. There is a comfortable dining room for the exclusive use of guests, leading directly onto a private terrace, where breakfast can be taken when the weather permits. Guests also have exclusive use of our beautiful drawing room, where there will be found a roaring log fire on chilly days. Cots are available on request.

Guest rooms have digital multi-channel TV with DVD player, hospitality trays, alarm clock, hairdryer, allergy-free duvets and pillows, and finest cotton bedlinen and towels. Tourist information for the local area and information about your stay at Whitfield Farm are provided for guests.

We are an inclusive establishment, and welcome those from all walks of life.

Guests are welcome to use our Drawing Room to relax or read.
