Little Hoyle, Heyshott, Nr Midhurst, West Sussex

Little Hoyle is a charming, peaceful, country bed and breakfast located at Heyshott near Midhurst in West Sussex.

We live in the middle of glorious, unspoilt English countryside, with birdsong by day, and starlit sky at night. Come and share it with us - in peace and privacy!

We only have one guest room, so we can really look after you. Your bedroom is cosy, with everything to make your visit comfortable - fluffy towels, down-filled pillows (or anti-allergenic), choice of teas and coffees -and biscuits- on your tea tray, wine glasses and corkscrew for that romantic bottle of wine, and a garden bank much loved by birds outside your window!

The en-suite bathroom includes a luxuriously large bath (with copious hot water), and a hand-held shower, as well as the usual fittings.

Your room opens off our inner hall - so it is really private, and quiet. Sometimes you will hear the local owls at dusk. Your dining room and sitting room have glorious views over our large garden, to the South Downs just across the fields, and there is a terrace with table, chairs, and parasol, for you to sit outside.

Heyshott has a very friendly pub, the Unicorn, in a wonderful position at the foot of the Downs. Our guests regularly tell us how much they enjoy the food -and the beer! - or sample the good restaurants in Midhurst - or further afield. Little Hoyle is literally in the middle of glorious walking country - from our door you can walk heathland, or up Heyshott Down to the South Downs way.

We are about 10 minutes South of Midhurst, on the Chichester road. Turn left at the sign for Heyshott and Cocking, then continue along the country lanes until the crossroads, turn right signed Hoyle and Heyshott -and watch out for rabbits and deer -or sometimes a fox! The drive to Little Hoyle branches off the lane a little further on the right. It's a very quiet lane, with no through traffic.
