Bed and breakfast accommodation in a Victorian town house in the centre of the city of Chichester. Close to the coast and the West Sussex downs, Number 49 is a short walk from the city centre and its many attractions.

Recently renovated to provide stylish accommodation with a friendly and informal atmosphere. For an overnight stop, a weekend break or a week away we aim to make your visit a comfortable one.

We have 3 double bedrooms, all en-suite, with complimentary tea, coffee and bottled spring water. All rooms have Freeview TV and Wi-Fi access.

Bicycles are available for our guests and we can also offer the use of a sailing dingy kept at nearby Bosham.

Our B&B in the heart of Chichester offers 3 tastefully furnished double bedrooms, one with interconnecting family room, and all with en suites.

Our rooms feature antique beds with comfortable mattresses dressed in crisp white linen with feather duvets and pillows. We can provide alternatives for those with allergies; please mention when booking.

We offer as standard to all of our guests complementary tea, coffee and bottled spring water. Our rooms come with Freeview TV, fluffy towels and complementary bath products. For the business traveler Wi Fi broadband is available.

We have a range of maps and books on local walks and tourist attractions and one-to-one ceramic lessons are available by arrangement.

For breakfast we offer a choice of cereals, fruits, yoghurt and fresh bread made daily or a hearty English breakfast made with quality ingredients locally sourced where possible, free range eggs, homemade jams and marmalade served by a roaring fire in winter.
