Welcome to the Fountain Inn. We are located in the far west of Cornwall providing warm and friendly accommodation in our historic granite inn.
Whatever the season you choose to visit we have something for you, from a roaring log fire in winter to dining outside amongst the flowers in the summer.
All our rooms have been sympathetically restored and updated during 2012 and offer a welcome place to relax Text taken from thebandbdirectory.co.uk and unwind whatever activities you choose. Many of the traditional features have been retained including the old fireplaces and granite features whilst ensuring maximum comfort for our guests.
We have gone out of our way to offer a different pub experience to others in the area by serving ‘Ales’ straight from the barrel. These are displayed behind the bar in full view as are the ciders which are poured straight to your glass.
As we are a “Free House” we prefer not to purchase from major breweries but patronise the local micro breweries that produce such stunning ales. Most of our range of ciders also come from West Country Producers too.
The Inn has been serving passing travellers for over 250 years With much of the building dating from circa 1750.
We now serve ales and traditional ciders straight from the barrel, so your drink tastes as good as it can be, no beer sat in the lines here.
We also serve good simple ‘pub grub’ if you are in need of some sustenance as well as refreshment.
Rates: From £38 per person per night.
From £65 per room per night based on 2 people sharing.
Children are welcome.
