Higher Argal Farm, Falmouth, Cornwall

Higher Argal Farm is a family run working farm with cats, cattle, calves and horses which has been in the George family for 3 generations. The farm lies about 3 miles west of Falmouth, the farm house is built of Cornish Granite, where a warm and friendly welcome awaits you.

The central heated standard bedrooms are spacious with 2 family rooms a double and twin with tea and coffee facilities. There is a separate lounge with TV and separate dining room, where breakfast is served between 7 and 9 am. A full English breakfast is always available contential or any special diets can be catered for. Higher Argal Farm is well situated for every type of holiday.

Argal Water Park is the nearest place to visit, fish, take a walk with the children to the play area or just to sit and enjoy a picnic. The National Trust Garden and Glendurgan are a few miles away as is the Helford Passage set in a cove on the Helford River where there is a pub to eat or just enjoy the news. This part of Falmouth has a lot to offer, Maritime Museam, Pendennis Castle, beaches, an indoor swimming pool, bowling alley, boat trips, golf clubs, pubs and restaurant for food. Or you might like to eat out in one of our local country pubs, Mabe, Mawnan Smith, The Treloaran Arms, all serve excellent food, and are just a few minutes drive in the car. There are riding stables in the area if you bring the children and they like horses. You might like a ride to the Eden Project which is about an hours drive and well worth the trip.

Rates : From £20 to £23 per week depending on season.
