Penarwyn, a Victorian gentleman's residence in one acre of grounds, has been renovated to incorporate modern facilities without losing the appeal of the Victorian era - our Snooker room is now available. The modern touches mean that the house is now totally non-smoking and we have wireless Broadband Internet access for your laptop !

Penarwyn is situated on the Cornish Riviera - the balmy south coastal area of Cornwall - and just a couple of miles from the Eden Project.

Nearby are the picturesque ports of Looe, Fowey, Charlestown and Mevagissey. Numerous small coves along the coast enable you to 'get away from it all' at any time of the year.

Fascinating, sub-tropical gardens abound and Spring comes early to Cornwall. Some gardens are open all year, others burst into flower in early February.

Treffry : A Kingsize double bedroom with views over the front garden of Penarwyn House. The room has a couple of easy chairs for relaxation and is equipped with a flat, wide-screen colour television with Freeview, DVD/CD player and stereo radio. There is also tea & coffee facility, hairdryer, room safe and use of fridge.

The luxury en suite bathroom has a large corner bath so you can soak away the day's strains, and then feel cossetted in the fluffy 'bath sheets' and towelling robes, or enjoy the invigorating, large, separate shower.

Prideaux : Our largest room - 7.5metres x 5 metres (24ft x 16ft) - enjoys views over the main garden. Prideaux is available as a Twin or Super Kingsize Double bed. We can also add a further bed to make it a comfortable triple room The room has large, comfy chairs and is equipped with a 28inch wide-screen colour television with Freeview, DVD/CD player and stereo radio. There is also tea & coffee facility, hairdryer, room safe and use of fridge.

The luxury en suite bathroom has a 'slipper' bath and separate shower. We're sure you'll enjoy the atmosphere of a bath by candlelight, drying yourself in the fluffy bath sheets and finally relaxing in the towelling robes.

Caerhayes : Our twin bedroom has an ensuite shower room with an invigorating shower. It is also available as Kingsize double bed. Although smaller than our other rooms, it still has all the comfort and style.

The room has an easy chair for relaxation and is equipped with a flat-screen colour television with Freeview, DVD/CD player and stereo radio. Tea & coffee facilities, hairdryer and use of a fridge completes the picture.
