The Old School House is a comfortable, Victorian schoolhouse offering bed and breakfast accommodation set in pretty, mature gardens in Cardinham, Cornwall. The unspoilt village of Cardinham is close to the edge of Bodmin Moor and Cardinham Amenity Forest; about 2 miles from the A30 north of Bodmin in Cornwall.
All accommodation is on the ground floor, there are two rooms: a single with a shower and a double with a bath. The double is in the main house with lovely views across the Text taken from thebandbdirectory.co.uk delightful garden. This room has a TV with Freesat, refreshment tray, radio alarm, central heating and en suite bathroom.
The Bothy is a small very pretty, stone and slate building about five yards from the main house offering single occupancy with an en suite shower room; ideal accommodation for one person wanting privacy. There is no TV in the Bothy but all guests are welcome to relax in the Orangery at the end of a busy day enjoying this lovely unspoilt heart of Cornwall. Both rooms have a refreshment tray.
We have a large garden at the bed and breakfast accommodation with lawns, flower beds, fruit and vegetable plots. Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden at any time. The terraced area in front of the house has ample seating and garden tables which guests are free to use.
We have recently completed our Orangery where guests will be served breakfast and they are welcome to relax in at other times.
Cardinham is an ideal base for touring, riding, cycling, walking and bird watching.
