Heathersfield, The Lizard, Helston, Cornwall

Heathersfield is a newly built house on the edge of The Lizard, the most southerly village in Cornwall. It has splendid coastal and country views. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished with a combination of old and new and paintings of local beaches and coves. Colin and Judith have hosted bed and breakfast guests for many years and now have put their wealth of experience into creating a very luxurious B&B.

There are three sumptuous double rooms with comfortable kingsize beds, crisp linen, fluffy towels and modern en-suite bathrooms, flat screen TVs and hospitality trays. Wi-fi is available if you bring your own computer. Two rooms have magnificent sea views and the third has far-reaching countryside views.

A delicious English or Continental breakfast is served in the dining room looking out to sea and country. There are French doors leading on to the terrace and garden beyond.
Where an evening meal is required there are many places to eat in the village and further afield.

The Lizard has stunning coastal walks, and secluded, sandy beaches. Kynance Cove and The Most Southerly Point are on our doorstep as well as the beautiful, unspoilt beaches in between.

Close by there are beautiful gardens and historic houses. Horse riding, golf and sailing are all available on The Lizard Peninsula. There many wonderful places of interest to visit such as St Michael's Mount, The Minack Theatre and The Eden Project, to name but a few. The Lizard is an excellent base for exploring Cornwall and it is magical to return here at the end of the day to watch the magnificent sunset!
