Meadowland Farm offers high-quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation near Dolton, Winkleigh. Situated in a stunning location in the Torridge valley overlooking the river, we are perfect for an idyllic break away. Our farmhouse is on the Tarka Trail and is a 10-minute drive from both the RHS Garden Rosemoor and Stafford Moor Fishery whilst the North Devon coast is only 18 miles away.
Our small farm is ideal for a relaxing and peaceful holiday in a lovely part of the country. On the ground floor, there is a lovely room with a private entrance which consists of a king-size bed. The adjoining room has a 3’ single bed and a 3’ trundle bed for additional adults or children. This family suite also boasts a lounge area with comfy seating, a modern TV with FreeSat, mini-fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The modern en suite shower room has a basin, toilet, heated towel rail and a spacious shower enclosure.

We also offer self-catering accommodation in The Lookout Shepherd’s Hut, a beautiful purpose-built timber cabin which has a double bed and a single bed for a child to sleep 3. Rates from £80 - £110 per night.
Guests are welcome to wander around our grounds and enjoy the far-reaching countryside views. You will be able to see our small flock of Exmoor Horn sheep, Berkshire pigs and free roaming hens and ducks that supply us with tasty fresh eggs each day.
We are the perfect base to explore the local area; Ideal for walking and cycling or for visits to the numerous National Trust properties and gardens in the area as well as the North Devon beaches. We are mid-way between Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks whilst the local market towns of Hatherleigh, Winkleigh and Great Torrington are all nearby. We are also surrounded by some excellent pubs overflowing with local character, good beer and food!
