Wootton Manor in High Bickington offers luxurious bed & breakfast accommodation. We are nestled down a half-mile lane in a peaceful location, offering stunning views to Exmoor National Park. We are close to Umberleigh and ideal for exploring Devon.
Our bed and breakfast has 90 acres of woodland, meadows and streams to enjoy. We have 2 suites/rooms to choose from. All the rooms offer quality accommodation and a range of facilities. You can also book the entire guest wing to offer exclusive use of the Garden Room and Exmoor Suite, plus use sole use of the Great Hall. We offer tea on arrival and breakfast (full English-continental).
The Exmoor Suite
Our suite comes with 2 bedrooms. The Blue bedroom has a super-king that can be made as two singles. Original features include historic ornate plasterwork friezes dating from the 16th century. The Gold bedroom is decorated with plasterwork and wall paintings and offers views of Exmoor National Park.
The suite comes with tea and coffee-making facilities, a smart TV, towels, shampoo and hair dryer, an optional folding bed, fridge and toaster. A BBQ package is available.

The Garden Room
We offer accommodation in this double room that comes with a king-size bed and shower room. The room boasts views over the Manor Gardens.
Facilities include room tea and coffee facilities, a smart TV, shampoo and hair dryer, antique writing desk and reclining armchairs.
Whilst staying with us you can visit lots of attractions. Visit the beaches at Saunton Sands, Northam Burrows and Westward Ho!. Enjoy 30 miles of walks through the Tarka Trail or play a round at Libbaton Golf Course. Attractions to visit include:
