Lower Thornton Farm is ideally positioned to enjoy all Devon has to offer. We are in the heart of the West Country famous for clotted cream teas, cider, rolling hills and rich red sandstone soil. The nearby historic Cathedral City of Exeter offers a wide range of activities including shopping, dining with many pubs, coffee shops and restaurants to choose from, and sight seeing both in and around Exeter including the canal basin and quay.

Situated close to the English Riviera with wide range of beautiful safe sandy beaches and coastal paths to enjoy. Dartmoor National Park with it's unique unspoilt environment offers a day out for all. Whether spending a day walking on the wild moorland or enjoying a pub lunch at one of the many historic inns.

Also close by is Exminster marshes (SSSI) and the Exe Estuary famous amongst bird lovers for it's diverse bird population. Boat trips on the estuary are available throughout the year.
