Snodwell Farm is located in the beautiful Blackdown Hills (an area of outstanding beauty) and just 20 minutes from the glorious East Devon coast.

This Georgian farmhouse with its large garden, orchard and pond is surrounded by rolling pasture land and wonderful views across open countryside. There is an indoor heated swimming pool located just across the pretty courtyard.

The market towns of Honiton and Axminster are nearby and Snodwell Farm is convenient placed for diners at Huge Ferney-Whittenstall's River Cottage or those attending any of their cookery courses. The coastal towns of Lyme Regis and Sidmouth and the fishing villages of Beer and Branscombe are a short drive or stunning bike ride away.

Walkers will find excellent footpaths crisscrossing the Blackdown hills. There are plenty of good pubs in the area for pleasant stops along your journey.

Guests interested in golf are spoilt for choice with a local 9 hole course for private tuition. The Acorn course (excellent 9 hole) and the Oak championship course are 25 minutes away on Woodbury Common.

Also located at Snodwell Farm is The Bliss Centre - a small, friendly, privately owned fitness club, with an exercise studio and swimming pool. Our classes are suitable for adults of all ages and abilities.

The indoor heated pool is open all year round and private swimming is available from 7.00am to 9.00pm everyday of the week.

Relax and be pampered at one of our anti-stress days. Enjoy a day at the Bliss Centre with 3 treatments from the choice of 5 - reflexology, indonesian back massage, body massage, facial or paraffin wax for hands or feet - all by experienced beauticians and therapists.

There are also classes available. Choose from aquafit, pilates or rythmics.

Maureen Bliss originally trained in Slimnastics in London and has been teaching for nearly 40 years including running her own Health Club in Hampshire with over 300 members. Isobel Norwell originally trained as a dancer and dance teacher and is now a qualified fitness treacher.
