Queen Anne House, Portland, Dorset

A particularly splendid example of English domestic architecture, Queen Anne House was built by Thomas Gilbert in 1710 from Portland stone at a time when Sir Christopher Wren had initiated its use extensively in the re-building of London after the great fire.

Oyster Room is a spacious romantic room perfect for wedding nights and large enough for added beds for children. It has a comfortable double tester bed with ensuite shower.

White Room has a medieval look with its white muslin drapes and view overlooking the garden. It has a comfortable double bed and en-suite with bath.

Lotus Room is a spacious room with an oriental feel and comfortable double tester bed with ensuite bath.
