We are situated only 15 minutes from the centre of the town and the Suffolk coast. Our location provides an ideal base for exploring the whole of East Anglia and the Suffolk coast. We offer our clients high quality bed and breakfast accommodation and we strive to make your stay something to cherish and remember. Our bed and breakfast accommodation consists of two double bedrooms - both with en-suite shower facilities. Each bedroom has its own colour television, fridge for cold drinks and tea/coffee making facilities. A radio and cd player and some cds are also provided for our guests. Ample off-road parking is always available for our clients' use. Guests are also free to use the front patio garden and small dogs are welcome. Full English breakfast is provided daily and we are only too happy to cater for vegetarians. We only serve organic food and all our bread is homemade. The county of Suffolk is blessed with a stunning coastline and beautiful English countryside. With seaside resorts, charming villages and bustling town centres, there are countless days out to suit all tastes. Suffolk's East Coast is full of activity. It also has some of the best beaches in Britain and, because there are so many, it's not difficult to find a quiet spot. This area boasts a wealth of activities - cycling, bird watching, fishing, water sports, wind mills, golf and children's activities - the list goes on and on. The region is an ideal, quiet retreat with good access for the Norfolk Broads to the north, Ipswich to the west and the coast to the east. Since the first Aldeburgh Festival in 1948, the Suffolk Coast has become a world-renowned meeting place for artists and audiences alike. Today Aldeburgh Music has evolved into a year-round programme of artistic endeavour, much taking place at the incomparable Snape Maltings Concert Hall. A Victorian listed Rectory opposite the tiny church on the end of the village of Creeting St Mary. An enormous tessellated hall leads onto lofty reception rooms opening onto the terrace overlooking the gardens. Relax in the spacious bedrooms with their elegant furnishings and luxurious en suites and experience the traditional Suffolk breakfast in the sunny Arch Room. Each of the guest bedrooms at Creeting House will provide you with the relaxation, comfort and facilities you may expect. The first floor bedrooms are equipped with ensuite bath or shower rooms and the second floor suite of one single & one family room, share a private bathroom. (There is no lift at the House and therefore we do not suggest that the suite should be booked if you have mobility difficulties.) Creeting House is approximately 1& 1/2 miles from the nearest historic town, Needham Market, with all the normal facilities including doctors, chemists, post office & bank, taxis, interesting independent retail shops, pubs and restaurants, a great farm shop and Needham Lake’s Wildlife Sanctuary. Whilst Needham has the nearest train station, trains do not stop frequently here, whereas from the station at Stowmarket (4 miles away), there are regular trains to London Stratford - convenient to visit the Olympics and to London Liverpool Street (1hour 20 minutes) to the south and Norwich (26 minutes) to the north. Set amidst two acres of award winning garden for you to explore and enjoy. Each of our rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with antiques in keeping with the property. Room 1: A taste of the past the old master bedroom of the Rectory, tastefully decorated in pale pink with a king size bed dressed to impress. Relax on the sofa in the triple aspect bay window and enjoy the views down into the stunning gardens. The room has TV, Freeview, dvd player, radio alarm clock and hair dryer. You will find a fruit bowl, chocolates and a well stocked hospitality tray for your enjoyment. The soft fluffy robes and slippers will help you unwind. The large en-suite shower room with its array of towels and toiletries adds to your comfort and makes this the perfect place to stay. Room 2: This good size double room is decorated in sumptuous red and gold. The stunning wooden bed is piled with pillows and cushions for your comfort.
