Langhams Cottage lies two miles east of the historic market town of Haslemere on the Surrey/Sussex border.
Dating from around 1800 it lays at the foot of the National Trust area of Blackdown, on the B2131 with its own driveway and parking area. The bed and breakfast accommodation is detached from the property and is based in the original, two storey, brick-built stable and grain store.
The accommodation in the garden comprises a private, detached, two-storey barn with two large rooms and a shower room. Outside downstairs there is decking with a table and chairs; upstairs there is a balcony with lovely views of Blackdown, perfect for evenings just relaxing. The ground floor has a sitting room with comfortable seating, TV, DVD and a dining area where breakfast can be served. There is also tea- and coffee-making facilities and a small fridge. The shower room has a WC, basin, shower, heated towel rail and fluffy white towels.
Upstairs via the open plan staircase there is a large bedroom, with a super king-size (6-foot) bed, which can also be made up as two 3-foot single beds, a dressing table, clock radio, hairdryer and iron. Heating is provided by two oil filled radiators. There is a wood burning stove downstairs which can be lit on request.
We serve a buffet breakfast downstairs or outside in good weather if you prefer.
When available, we use our own eggs and produce from local shops, including bread, bacon and sausages with good tea and coffee. We can provide Continental breakfasts on request. If you have any special dietary needs, please notify us in advance.
