Newcastle is only 8 miles away and is easily accessed by car as well as being well served by public transport (bus and Metro) and reasonably priced taxis. Both Newcastle airport and the national rail network are equally accessible.

We pride ourselves in providing well maintained warm clean rooms. All of our 32 bedrooms are en-suite and are equipped with colour televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. Our bathrooms all have showers and some have showers and baths. Complimentary soaps and shampoos are provided in all bathrooms.

Other attractions include Alnwick Castle, home of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland and famous for the location of the Harry Potter films, Alnwick Gardens with its huge tree house and fantastic water features, the historic working recreation of a yesteryear village at Beamish Museum and Hadrian's Wall.
For the sporty as well as the infamous Magpies you can also watch Jonny Wilkinson play for the Newcastle Falcons or what about basketball or ice hockey with the Eagles and Vipers. The area also has many and varied golf courses in really scenic locations.
