Trearddur bay and the surrounding coves offer clean sandy beaches with safe swimming areas. The area is popular with divers and canoeists, as well as a variety of other water sports enthusiasts and fishermen. Ingledene itself is only yards away from the beach and has excellent views across the bay to Holyhead Mountain, whilst at the rear you can see across Anglesey towards the Snowdonia mountain range.

The town of Holyhead is only two miles away where day trips to Ireland are available, taking just 99 minutes onboard Stena Lines' HSS Explorer. Prices start from as little as £10 per person.

Fishing, riding and golfing facilities are available locally and there is a leisure centre in Holyhead. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance and the local pub is only a hundred yards down the road.
