Mandinam Bed & Breakfast, Llangadog, Carmarthenshire

With history going back to Charles 1st, Mandinam is a beautiful magical place. It is the home of Daniella and Marcus, farmer and artist. Mandinam is a working farm and we produce our own beef and lamb and most of our own vegetables.

The views are breathtaking from every angle. The house is spacious and inviting,and guests are welcomed here to eat at the ancient refectory table in the red dining room, or relax in the drawing room, full of modern art and bright rugs from Marcus’s designs.

The two available rooms are in courtyard buildings. The “New Room” has a four poster bed, gallery with T.V. and a bath and shower room with underfloor heating. The Coach house room is more rustic but very comfortable with wood burning stove, armchairs, en suite shower and, overlooking the Towy Valley, its own private terrace surrounded by luxuriant Rosemary bushes.

There is lots to see and visit in the area. Botanic gardens. Aberglasney garden. Dynevor and CarregCennen castles. Black mountains start on the farm, so it’s a wonderful place for walkers. Llandeilo nearby has some good places to eat and to buy antiques and excellent kitchenware. And more, and more.

Breakfast is made from as much of our own produce as possible. Home produced, free range eggs, sausages, home made bread, marmalade, jam and honey. Anything we don’t produce we try to source locally. Dinners are delicious and can be provided if ordered in advance.

The beds are comfortable, the linen good and the food delicious. You will be made to feel very welcome and we will do everything we can to make your stay as enjoyable and rewarding as possible.

Rates : From £50 per person per night. From £70 to £80 per room per night based on 2 people sharing.
