Ideal touring base, a short drive to the coast and DylanThomas boat house at Laugharne. You can play a quiet round of golf nearby or for the more adventurous there is Oakwood Leisure Park. There are many craft centres and historic places of interest. For Garden lovers Aberglasney and the National Botanic Garden of Wales at Middleton Hall is well worth a visit.
West Wales is an area of rolling hills, remote uplands, unspoilt mountain roads, cool forests and silent lakes. But do not be deceived by the Tranquility, there is plenty going on here, including pony trekking, fishing, shooting, walking, narrow gauge railways, riding, canoeing, sailing and mountain biking- the list is endless. Ideal base for touring South and West Wales.
