Bryn Tirion nestles in the Clwydian Hills , a designated Area of Outstanding National Beauty.

There is excellent walking and cycling on the doorstep, including the Offa's Dyke Long Distance footpath.

Snowdonia is 45 minutes away, Chester with its Roman Walls & outstanding shopping 35 minutes & Liverpool less than an hour.

The accommodation is perfect for two people. It comprises of a pretty beamed living-room with a well equipped kitchen, including a full-sized cooker, microwave oven and fridge, with all the usual utensils - pots and pans etc.

The bedroom has an old world charm & appeal with period furniture, Laura Ashley bed linen with attention to detail that makes this a special place to stay.

Breakfast is served in the conservatory overlooking the beautiful valley and hills - whilst you are enjoying a hearty full Welsh breakfast you can watch the birds come and collect their first meal of the day.

If you wish to watch TV - there is this facility in your room and also in the sun lounge. And at the end of a long day walking or sight seeing you can rest your weary bones in our traditional bathtub.

There is plenty to keep you busy in this area, including The Loggerheads and Moel Fammau Country Parks, both very much in the local vicinity. Only 35 miles away lies the picturesque location of Snowdonia and within 18 miles is Llangollen with it's famous steam railway. Nearby, the Market Towns of Mold & Ruthin have plenty to offer and if you continue on for 15 miles, you will find yourself within the historic City Walls of Roman Chester. Excellent shopping facilities make for a great day out.

Alternatively, you could just spend a lazy day relaxing in our pretty cottage garden. Sit and daydream by the pond or take a stroll around our 3 acres of natural meadow and woodland. To round off the day, there are many superb local inns and restaurants, tempting you with their culinary expertise.

Local activities include walking, cycling, swimming, a fitness centre, horse-riding, fishing and paragliding to name a few. Also nearby are many historic castles, gardens, craft centres, cinemas and the landmark of the area- Theatre Clwyd, a major regional theatre.
