Southwold House bed and breakfast hotel in Broadway, was originally built in Victorian/Edwardian times, circa 1900 as a family home. In 1960, Southwold House was converted into high quality bed and breakfast guest house and therefore is well established, welcoming many guests visiting Broadway in Worcestershire and the Cotswolds.
The house is decorated and furnished to a high standard of comfort throughout with period furniture, collections of Russian romantic art and original brass collections. Each room has its own individual charm and carry the names of traditional Russian Ladies. A library to suit all tastes is available to our guests and the atmosphere experienced during your stay will be a mixture of classic Russian culture and a traditional English home.
A special place to relax, Southwold gardens are available for our guests enjoyment. A large private area of lawns and shrubs with tables, chairs and a summer house.
We are able to accommodate up to 24 guest in a mixture of double and en suite rooms so whether your special occasion is a walking party, group holiday, family get together, cycling or wedding party you are all very welcome at Southwold B&B in Broadway.
The accommodation which Southwold provides can be found on the first and second floors. It consists of eight en suite bedrooms. We have 3 double bedrooms with en suite showers and a double bedroom with a bathroom en suite, 2 twin bedrooms with en suite showers and a large en suite family room which has 1 double bed and a twin bed, we have a cot available. We also have a single room with shower en suite across the landing.
Each room has thermostatically controlled central heating, hospitality trays with tea, coffee and drinking chocolate making facilities, biscuits, mineral water, colour television with remote control, clock radio and hairdryer.
Southwold guests will enjoy the extra comfort of traditional flat linen sheets. The bathrooms have to hand, toiletries, fresh towels and heated towel rails.
A morning newspaper service directly to your room, before breakfast, is also available.
On the ground floor of Southwold House will be found our tastefully decorated dining room which seats seventeen. Guests will enjoy a first class breakfast of their choice, cooked to order, with fruits of the season, tea and freshly ground coffee.
A short distance from the dining room is the drawing room where guests can relax, listen to music, read, watch television and enjoy a glass of wine in a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere.

You can take lovely walks on the nature trails in the Country Park and eat lunch in the picnic areas or you could enjoy a round of golf at the superb Broadway Golf Club. There is plenty to do in Broadway.
