The Villa Marina is a superbly appointed guest house, beautifully situated overlooking Peasholm Park and the lake in Scarborough.
A warm and friendly welcome awaits you from the owners, Stephen and Leza Farmer, whose aim is to make your visit to Scarborough a memorable one and to ensure your personal comfort and satisfaction at all times.
The Villa Marina has 10 delightfully furnished and centrally heated bedrooms, all with en suite, flat screen televisions and tea and coffee making facilities which are replenished daily, and residents have access to their rooms at all times.
The bed and breakfast offers you a good and varied menu to suit everyone and every care is taken in preparing and cooking in the traditional way. A 5 course dinner at only £15 per person (or even less if you are staying on one of our special offers), we think is excellent value.
As dinner is a set menu, each morning at reception you will find the evening dinner menu and if the main course is something you cannot eat, we will be happy to offer you an alternative. Dinner is available from September to December but is not available from 18th December to 7th February. Dinner is available again between February and July.
The Villa Marina is perfectly situated to enjoy all of Scarborough's northside attractions... Peasholm park with its boating lake and 'pitch and putt' course are opposite the guest house, while the beach, the indoor swimming pool and miniature railway are just a few minutes away.
A short stroll takes you to Scarborough Castle, the harbour and foreshore entertainments and of course, to the town centre with its many shops, cafes and restaurants.
Scarborough is one of England's finest seaside resorts with a wealth of attractions, but if you want to venture further afield, there are many lovely places to visit.
Taking the coast road north you will find picturesque Robin Hood's Bay with its clustered old houses clinging to the cliffside and the famous old fishing port of Whitby, its Abbey ruins perched high above the busy harbour.
Or drive inland to the beautiful unspoilt North Yorkshire Moors and to pretty towns and villages like Hutton-le-Hole, Lastingham and Thornton-le-Dale. For some of the finest scenery, take a ride on one of the old steam trains which run from Pickering to Grosmont.
If you like something a little grander, try a visit to Castle Howard, or spend a day in historic York with its ancient Minster and city walls. Or for complete peace and quiet, maybe a restful walk in Dalby Forest.
