With an abundance of character and numerous open fires mixed in amongst plenty of original wooden beams, The White Harte is the perfect place for a relaxing and memorable holiday away. The White Harte offers a choice of 19 contemporary bedrooms, 11 of which are en suite and overlook the River Crouch and beautiful Essex countryside. Travel cots and Z beds are available for certain rooms upon request.
The range of room we offer include:
4 x Superior en suite rooms located on the 1st floor overlooking the River Crouch with a bath, TV, toilet & shower.
7 x Standard en suite rooms with a shower, TV & toilet (some are situated on the 2nd floor overlooking the River Crouch. Please note that access to the 2nd floor is via a steep staircase.)
4 x Basic rooms (Main Hotel) with TV, tea/coffee facilities, shared toilet, bath & shower.
4 x Basic rooms (Annex) with their own sink & shared bath, shower & toilet. These rooms are located in a separate annex building which do not overlook the river.
We offer a delicious full English ever morning and our excellent restaurant offers a sumptuous lunch and dinner menu. If you want to join us for a formal dinner, relaxing lunch on the jetty, casual meal in front of the open fireplace or outside on The Quay, we will ensure that you are spoilt for choice.
Guests can take advantage of our jetty situated on the Quay, overhanging the River Crouch.
Burnham-on-Crouch is located in the heart of the Essex countryside, nestled along the north bank of the River Crouch. For its small population of around 8,000, Burnham has plenty to offer including a cinema, a marina, a golf club and plenty of coastal walkways providing stunning views of the river for many miles. Burnham has good transport links to the surrounding areas and towns and with Burnham train station providing access to London via Wickford, you can be in central London within 60 minutes.
