Glendon Guest House is open all year round and offers luxury bed and breakfast accommodation in the Derbyshire county town of Matlock at the edge of the Peak District National Park. There are a variety of bed and breakfast room types available and we even have a 4 poster room.
All of the guest bedrooms are en suite and each have Egyptian cotton bed linen, high quality towels, flat screen TV, radio/alarm clock with iPod docking station, toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridge, hairdryer, shaving points and FREE Wi-Fi.
In the morning a range of breakfast options are served in the dining room. There is a choice of cooked breakfast using locally sourced produce, light dishes, cereals, fruit, yoghurt and breads. The guest house also has a spacious guest lounge which has views over the Knowleston Gardens.
The guest house is located next to the Hall Leys Park where you can feed the ducks, play mini golf or children can play in the play area. There are other interesting towns and villages surrounding the guest house such as Bakewell, Castleton and Buxton which has an opera house and pavilion gardens. The guest house is also within close proximity of many attractions, for example Gullivers Kingdom, Crich Tramway Museum and Matlock Farm Park.
