The Gables Bed & Breakfast is a lovely B&B that has wonderful views overlooking the Derwent Valley in Derbyshire. Our bed and breakfast is up a steep and winding lane and is a short walk from the centre of Starkholmes, a small and pretty village near Matlock.
Our bed and breakfast is a perfect base for those who are looking for a get away from it all break or as a stop off while touring the Peak District National Park. We have 1 double/twin guest rooms available and 1 king suite. For breakfast we offer both Full English and Continental, using as many locally sourced produce as possible. The fresh fruit and veg all comes from Matlock market and the sausages and bacon from a local butcher, Robin Maycock.
