The Ashford Arms offers good food and comfortable accommodation in the Peak District National Park at Ashford in the Water.
We have eight bedrooms each with en-suite bath or shower, washbasin and WC, tea and coffee making facilities, TV and radios. The 'Master' bedroom boasts a four-poster bed. We also another four-poster double room and four other double bedrooms plus two family rooms (lower image opposite) which each sleep 3.
Since this a 200-year old building, each room is quite distinctive and many have exposed beams and stonework, while the building itself has many charming nooks and crannies.
The Ashford Arms offers bar meals and a restaurant close to Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District. Eating out at the Ashford Arms is a treat - we have a varied menu using local, fresh produce. You can eat in the bar or we have a restaurant in a conservatory area which can host banquets and larger parties.
We have a traditional bar with open fireplace and no distractions - a great meeting place for visitors and locals alike or just a nice place for a quiet drink.
The pub is situated in the very centre of this lovely village, backing almost onto the River Wye. Outside the pub we have a large garden area which in summer is a lovely relaxing place in which to sit in the sunshine.
The many attractions of the Peak District are within easy reach, as is Alton Towers.
