Forthay Bed and Breakfast offers fantastic guest house accommodation in the charming hamlet of Forthay, based in a gorgeous rural location. We are close to Dursley and perfect for a magical countryside break in Gloucestershire.
Our wonderful 17th Century Grade II Listed farmhouse is made from Cotswold stone and is bursting with charm and character. The house is overlooked by the Tyndale Monument and surrounded by rolling countryside.
We have 3 luxurious guest rooms available, all perfect for a restful night’s sleep after a busy day sightseeing. There are 2 king rooms, including one with an en suite bathroom and one with a spacious luxury bathroom. A further twin bedroom also comes with a private shower room.

In the morning you can savour an award-winning breakfast, including award-winning homemade granola and a range of preserves. The freshly prepared full English breakfast includes local smoked back bacon, a pillow of scrambled eggs (laid that morning from the chickens in the garden), freshly baked bread and locally sourced sausages.
You can relax and unwind in our cosy snug which has a toasty wood-burning stove, maps and magazines about the local area, a library of books and a selection of board games. The licensed bar is also great for a tipple. Evening meals are available via prior notice.
