Designed with walkers in mind, Farm View House provides direct access to Wysis Way from the garden and the Cotswold Way is just a stone's throw away across the valley. The home is currently undergoing improvements, making it a welcoming place for those with muddy boots and wet coats.
The guest accommodation includes a spacious double bedroom with sweeping valley views and a unique, original 1980s retro-style bathroom complete with dual sinks. There's also a large twin room that overlooks the serene woods and shares access to the family bathroom, echoing the 1980s retro charm.
Both rooms are equipped with towels, tea and coffee-making facilities, with fresh milk readily available. We occasionally offer single rates and discounts for stays of three nights or more, please ask for more details.
Breakfast options include a vegetarian or continental style and guests have the option to join us for supper at a reasonable cost for those preferring a night in.
While the rooms do not have TVs, guests are invited to use the communal lounge TV.
The property is home to a dog and a cat and guests may enquire about bringing their horse, as we can accommodate up to two horses and a small lorry or trailer nearby, depending on the season.
Located about 25 minutes from J13 or J11a on the M5 and roughly an hour from Oxford, Farm View House is conveniently close to Stroud (5 miles), Gloucester (9 miles), and Cheltenham (10 miles), providing easy access to both the charm of local villages and the amenities of larger towns.
