The Moors Inn is a 17th Century inn situated in the picturesque village of Appleton-le-Moors in North Yorkshire. We are 15 minutes from the picturesque market town of Pickering where you can hop aboard the North York Moors steam railway to Whitby for a scenic day out.
The Moors Inn has eight rooms in a mixture of double and twin rooms in our converted barn. Each room features an en suite bathroom (one room with shower over bath)and tea and coffee making facilities. We are a dog friendly inn and there is no charge for bringing a four legged friend- just let us know they'll be staying!
Here at the Moors Inn, our chefs are passionate about creating high quality, homemade food. We are keen to support local suppliers and producers in the Yorkshire area including Fresh East Coast Fish, Pheasant and Hare in season from the surrounding moorland, free range eggs and local allotment fruit and vegetables.
The inn features a large yet cosy bar area complete with traditional open fire keeping the inn beautifully warm on those chilly winter nights. The bar features a range of seating and dining options and can be booked for meals (especially if you are bringing a four legged friend).
