Golden Lion Hotel is a beautiful grade II listed, family-run 1850s hotel that offers a warm Dales welcome in the historic market town of Leyburn in North Yorkshire.
Each of our 14 comfortable guest rooms has en suite facilities and most are large enough for families. There is a lift to all floors and many rooms have been specially adapted for disabled guests.
There is also a function room available for special events such as an engagement party, birthday or christening. All our rooms and the bar are dog-friendly and there is limited free Wi-Fi available.
Our bar and restaurant are the perfect places to relax and unwind with locally sourced real ale and bar food offered. Lunch is available from 12 pm – 2.30 pm and Dinner is available from 6 pm – 8.30 pm.
Leyburn is a town with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, unusual local shops and cafés, traditional pubs and a weekly market, it's an ideal base for walking, sightseeing, or just watching the world go by.
