Glen Wynne Guest House offers comfortable and homely room-only accommodation in a traditional Victorian Lakeland house. With a choice of rooms available, we look forward to welcoming you during your visit to Cumbria. Our guest house is in Windermere, a fantastic base for those who are looking to explore the Lake District National Park.
Choose from one of our four, beautifully appointed guest rooms:
Single – Compact in size we like to think of it as a snug and has its own en suite shower facilities.
Standard Double – A cosy double room with seating for two and an en suite shower room.
Double Room – A large room with plenty of space to relax. It has a tub chair and seating area to relax in, along with an en suite shower room.
Twin Room – Set on the 2nd floor, this has two single beds as well as tub chairs and a table seating area. This room also has an en suite shower room.

Located in a quiet corner of Windermere, yet only a two-minute level walk from heart of the village, Glen Wynne is perfectly situated. Windermere’s main car park is just down the road from the guest house, providing ample parking. A little further on, are the main taxi rank and bus stops. An inexpensive shuttle bus operates every 20 minutes, stopping at Bowness village, the lake, the bus and train station, as well as the Steam Boat Museum and Beatrix Potter exhibition at The Old Laundry.
