The Abbey is located in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. We ae a family run hotel and pride ourselves on our friendly service, comfortable rooms and tasty, home cooked breakfasts. The hotel is made up of a number of Grade II listed buildings, comprising of a Tudor house built about 1530, a Medieval merchant's house built about 1350, complemented by three delightful new rooms built over the site of St Botolph's Chapel. St Botolph’s Cottage, a small converted barn completes the guest accommodation for your luxury visit.
Standard Double - The Abbey Hotel offers three standard double rooms for single and double occupancy. Each room is carefully furnished so that guests may work or relax in comfortable surroundings.
Deluxe King - These rooms have deluxe king sized beds with plenty of room left to sit and relax. Six are available for single or double occupancy. Each room is unique with carefully chosen furniture to ensure a comfortable stay.
Standard Suite – Includes a king sized bedroom and an attached lounge offer you great comfort and space during your stay at the Abbey Hotel. Available for single or double occupancy.

A well equipped kitchenette with dining area and modern bathroom complete this unusual suite. Available for single, double/twin or triple occupancy.
Superior Suite St Botolph's Cottage - This is a truly unique hotel suite: miniature cottage with a mezzanine bedroom. On the ground floor are twin single beds and a sitting area, leading to a kitchenette and a bathroom containing a bathtub and separate shower. Available for single, double/twin, triple or quadruple occupancy.
We offer a choice of an extensive breakfast menu either from our cold buffet or cooked to order. Food allergies and intolerances can be catered for - please ask.
