Newark Farmhouse B&B offers quality accommodation on a working farm at Sanquhar in the beautiful Southern Uplands in Dumfries & Galloway.

This beautiful part of Scotland is a great walking country with the Southern Upland Way, Scotland's coast to coast footpath of 212 miles from Portpatrick - Cockburnpath passing nearby. There are many other less ambitious walks in the area and we have leaflets available. Wanlockhead is situated on the Southern Upland Way and houses the famous Lead Museum, gold panning, and the highest shop in Scotland.
